Door Panel Removal & Sound Deadener

Post by 80SpiderConvertible » Sun Jan 29, 2006 5:40 pm

OK, I'm making great progress, but I'm stumped again. I have all the screws out of the door panel, the arm rests and door handles removed, so now HOW DO I GET THE WINDOW CRANK OFF?? I see no screws and it won't pull off.

Also, has anyone used QuietCar sound deadener? It's supposed to be better than Dynomat... What sound deadener do you have or recommend?

Make a hook out of stiff wire. Run it between the plastic bezel and the base of the crank and try to catch the little metal horseshoe retaining clip (which you can't see) and pull it off. I remember this was not too hard to do. Good luck!
