75' Fiat Spider won't start

Post by donjello » Tue Jun 02, 2015 2:04 pm

hi, I have a 1975 Spider.
It was running fine last week, then it just quit.

It's not the battery, starter, alternator. Most of the fuses look to be in order, everything turns on and works, except there is no spark or crank to the engine.

Any feedback will be appreciated, thanks in advance, Donjello. :dontknow:

I would guess it is related to the electrical multi- connector out of the key switch under the dash. These often overheat and fail. I removed mine and replaced with 4 separate connectors to each wire.
