Allen,
I removed the steering box several years ago ... it was a painstaking, tedious, slow process. As I recall there was a bolt that could only be turned like half a turn at a time due to space restrictions and my big mitts. That alone took forever. Then once freed I swear there were times when I thought "no way this is coming out"! it took a lot of gymnastics, knuckle busting, mandatory cursing and breaks for alcohol reinforcement and I believe about two weeks. Of course that was work for a couple of hours, curse, drink, call it a day. Go back.

But it is possible. Good luck!

thanks rj doe sent sound like fun. I'm into fun will replace lower seal and see how that reduces the pooling on the floor. Engine due to come out in the near future will wait for steering box rebuild then . Thanks for the heads up :)
