850 Idler Arm
850 Idler Arm
Anybody ever replace the bushings on an 850 idler arm? I have used deep creep and heated it up a little but the bolt isnt moving much. I am thinking about hammering a pickle fork between the top washer and housing. Any suggestions?
Re: 850 Idler Arm
i would recommend that you replace the entire unit.
they wern't that costly in 2005 when i replaced mine.
new housing shaft bushings and all, and unlike other replacments bits i have purchased, quality was very good.

Have you tried this method and did it work? Replacin the unit is costly and don't want to do it unless it is guaranteed.daled wrote:i would recommend that you replace the entire unit.
