Racer Dash into Regular 850

Post by SD850 » Fri Mar 29, 2013 3:20 pm

I recently bought an old in great condtion Dash but it ended up being to a racer and I just have the regulr 850. Do you know if it would lower the value of my car by putting this one in and trying to find 850 wood panel inlays? Also if I make the inlays myself out of a nice wood would it lower my value too?

Thanks I might have to return the awsome dash at shipping and restocking fees, hoping to improvise.

A good racer dash will have more value than a perfect 850 dash to a racer owner.
Try to sell it first.

Exactly I don't plan to put it in until I repaint the car which is a long way away. Hopefully can sell it by then or its going in mine.

i wouldn't sell it until i found a good condition 850 dash...not an easy task.
i don't know if it the racer dash is a direct fit but i would guess its very close if not.
