Moved to the US recently, now looking to bring over a 500!

Postby turbo500 » Wed Apr 01, 2015 12:42 pm

Hello everyone,

I was directed to this forum from Jason (florida's FCA head) as I had a couple questions regarding importing a 500.

I recently moved from Rome, Italy to the US, and having seen an Italian car specialist the other day by chance, it reminded me how badly I want to bring over a 500 to keep me company :D

I'm in the process of finding a nice 500 L or R in Italy. My main question is:

Can anyone give me some information on who to contact for shipping? Has anyone gone through the process, what was the method you used (RORO or container), and how was your experience?

Thanks again,

Ciao

Hi,

I have in the past worked with West Coast Shipping (California). I know they ship many cars around the world. Perhaps they might be of help. I've also heard a few things about USKO Shipping (California). Look them up online and see if they can give you any pointers.

I personally ship cars for clients around USA alone. If you happen to bring the car to a port that is farther from home, feel free to reach out to me. I have drivers around the country who can pickup and deliver anywhere in the country.

That's my company site. Feel free to email or call with any questions.

Good luck!
