Just bought this one on Sunday. Pretty much a "barn find". Car was stored (outdoors it seems) in Nevada for years then bought 15 years ago by a guy here in South Florida who was going to convert into a SCCA racer. He already has a CC coupe he raced. When he got it he thought it was too nice and complete to race so put it in his garage behind the house where it sat until we pulled it out. Body is in great shape notwithstanding the paint. Interior is toast from the desert sun. I'll start accumulating parts and get to it when I finish my Spider, hopefully by the summer. Wish me luck, I've wanted a Coupe for a long time!

'71 Coupe project to go with my '71 Spider project
Re: '71 Coupe project to go with my '71 Spider project
I've seen a lot worse. Looks like all the bits are there and it seems to be a good base to start with. Hope you plan on updating this post with any progress you make. Thanks for saving another one from the graveyard
Here's my '71 for some inspiration. Doesn't sound like you really need it though.

what happened with the '71? is it back on the road?
Re: '71 Coupe project to go with my '71 Spider project
Just an update..
The coupe is still waiting for restoration. I've been collecting parts but my 71 Spider and a recently acquired 74 X1/9 have been taking up my time. As long as no other "I can't pass this one up!" projects appear, it's next in line.
Thanks,
Hampton
