I have a 1978 Fiat 124 spider. In the fuel line, about six inches before the fuel pump, there is a little round, one way check valve. It's about as round as a 50 cent piece. Apparently, it's supposed to prevent fuel from going all the way back to the fuel tank when you turn off the engine.
Mine has fuel coming out of a little hole on top and I'm told the diaphragm is bad inside. Where can I find another one of these? I can't find a parts store that carries them.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Fuel system question
You can remove this as well. They were originally a fire hazard. Removal will likely cause a few extra cranks to start after the car sits longer than a week.
