Power Steering for Fiat Spider?

Post by sjmst2 » Mon Jan 16, 2012 2:10 pm

Now, I know the purists may poo poo it, but I am looking into this.
It seems PS can be retrofitted into our Spiders. I think that would be great.
I am checking into pricing.

Some of may actually need a little assist as we get older. This system sounds like a interesting upgrade for our cars. I wonder if a alternator upgrade would be necessary. And wonder what the Amp draw is. It is also speed sensative? Keep us posted!

interesting mod, but I think you've got it in the wrong area. this is for the new Fiat 500. if you're thinking of using a 500 gear, you still might want to post this in an area where fellow Spider fans/owners might be of more assistance. :)

Moved.

I wonder if a Fiat tech area would benefit the group....I might start a poll once I get all the other tasks done on my list from the forum upgrade.
