A very familiar Beta Coupe is featured in the 'Escape Road' section of Autoweek (which is now bi-weekly). I didn't see it on the web site (probably too new) but here's a link to the section where they post the Escape Road articles: http://www.autoweek.com/section/collecting

Seriously? Congratulations, Charley! I'll keep an eye out for it on the newsstand.

I haven't seen the issue yet,so I assume it's my car ? If it's NOT mine who else had a pending article with a Beta Coupe? The journalist who wrote this escape roads article for Autoweek (Bob Tomain) submitted that article to Autoweek about two years ago. He also wrote an article on my Beta for "Old Cars Weekly" a few years ago,and an article about my 91 Dodge Daytona ES for "Auto Restorer Magazine"

(this was the first color issue in ten years, and featured my Daytona on the cover).
I don't know if Autoweek is sold at newsstands (except possibly the Detroit,Mi.area),I think it may be sold by subscription only.

You just need to start hanging out at a better class of newsstands...

Ed,
I sure wish I could find that better class of newsstand, because I can't find ANY newsstands locally that sell Autoweek. I called three different newsstands in Hazleton,Pa. and four in Wilkes Barre,Pa. with no luck. I would sure love to see that article about my car. I guess I will have to order a reprint from the AW website.

Fair point. We’re fortunate in LA to have newsstands that carry a very broad range of mags. There are a couple in my area that probably couldn’t be supported in most small cities. And about 15 minutes away is a specialty auto book store with an even more extensive selection of auto-related items. I suppose it’s too easy to take these things for granted.

The magazine has been ordered. I gave up locally. I suppose if I drove over to NYC or down to Phila. I could have probably found a decent newsstand that sold AW. Unfortunately, the newsstands around here obviously never even heard of Autoweek. The places I called (at least the ones that I could understand and spoke without a thick Indian accent) gave me answers to my inquiries like, "We do have the AutoTrader and Hot Rod magazines."

Picked up a copy today at Autobooks. Nice article. Not particularly well-written or very accurate, but they spelled Charley's name right, they spelled Lancia right, and the car looks great. In other words, about everything you could possibly hope for. Congratulations, again, Charley!
