Ciao, FIATisti!

During the first year of the blog we had a few owner travel stories to share. We're eternally grateful to them... as we're sure those stories inspired others. They have remained relatively popular. During the second year of the blog we've included e-interview type pieces. We're grateful to those folks, because it helped add some humanity behind these kinds of grass roots efforts. It's nice to see they're still top reads. In between all that great content, we've done our best to provide information on legendary FIAT greats and the marques under the brand umbrella. The blog is meant to be a 'By the people, for the people' affair.

We've reached out to a few people about what they & others would like to read in future entries and they've provided great feedback.

1) Personal/Owner/Driver stories. We dig 'em and others, apparently, dig 'em too. Why FIAT? What draws us to the brand? What draws us to the various models? What we do with them and where we go with them is of interest domestically & abroad.

2) FIAT tuning scene. As is evidenced by this online community, it's growing every day. Newcomers & non-tuners enjoy reading this stuff. This works into 'Personal' stories... but with a WICKED twist.

3) FIAT aftermarket community. The more we can add a human touch to what's going on the stronger it comes across. Learning the legend of Abarth is exciting. Learning the motivation & humanity behind the legend is endearing. The FotD, FIATtech and Jolly Club entries are examples of that kinda thing.

The NUMBER ONE 'fear' expressed when we approach people about sharing their experience/s is "I can't write very well" or something along those lines. We can offer a series of questions that kinda provide an outline of sorts. Interested parties simply need to fill-in the blanks and share photos to go with the words. Ghostdog (Bob), Tweak (James), Gigante (Edwin), Joseph, BT (Bryan Thompson) and others have shared their stories & photos... the results were as awesome as their rides. We'd like you to help us keep that going.

If interested in being a part of a closer look at the communty, PM me and we'll get things rolling.

Thanks!

Sorry for getting back to you at such a late date. I was out of country the entire month of August and spent September working on a million different things.

I, along with the lion's share of the club, am in Milwaukee WI. We have members in Madison and Oshkosh as well as many supporters around the country and... well... the world.
