Guy Croft is writing a new, updated version of his classic twin-cam workshop manual. GC is taking reservations ahead of the publication date as this is an edition limited to 500 copies.
Christmas is coming . . .

What could possibly be different if the engine is no longer produced..
To me this is admitting you were wrong the first time.. :bang:

... sorry I wasn't clear.

Many people consider Guy's book to be the "bible" for building, maintaining and restoring the Fiat twincam-based models, hence the reference to old and new testament.

FYI - the second book introduced more material related to later evolutions of the models and engines. There is indeed however refinements and much more depth and practical knowledge imparted related to building performance engines in the second book.

These are my high level impressions of what I have read as I actually own both books. You can contact Guy or see his website for more detailed descriptions. He is very personable and reachable by phone or email and willing to discuss his books and any details of the Fiat twincams.

... or were you joking ?
